Current (institutional) Events: March 2013
“If the government wants to change the structure of the solidarity levy for the banking sector, the government can decide as such,” European Central Bank Executive Board member Joerg Asmussen said today in Berlin. “What’s important is that the planned revenue of 5.8 billion euros remain.”
We, institutions, are going to steal the same amount of money, we just need to figure out who we can steal it from that is least likely to riot!
USA Government vows to protect Seoul with nukes amid rising Korea tensions
Every military resource the US has, including nuclear arms, will be available to its ally South Korea in the confrontation with its northern neighbor, US Deputy Defense Secretary Ashton Carter pledged in Seoul.
“We remain steadfast to our commitment to extended deterrence offered by the US nuclear umbrella,” Carter said after talks with South Korean Defense Minister Kim Kwan-Jin.
“We’ll ensure all of our resources will be available to our alliance,” he was quoted as saying by Yonhap news agency. Carter is visiting South Korea as part of a four-nation tour of American allies in Asia, which also includes Japan, the Philippines and Indonesia.
The veiled threat comes amid heightened tensions in the Korean Peninsula, which started with Pyongyang’s third nuclear test in February.
This is how a back-door war with China may begin; with the Chinese militarily supporting their client state North Korea, while the US government supports its client state, South Korea, militarily.
The US/South Korean war games began on March first, and are scheduled to run through an entire two months, until the first of May.
Unfortunately, this leaves ample time for one stupid mistake, misreading, or really bad decision on the part of either side, to escalate into a full-on shooting war faster than the speed of light.

PM to request USA carry out joint airstrikes on Syrian missiles
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will reportedly discuss the possibility of joint Israeli-US airstrikes on Syrian arms stockpiles when US President Barack Obama visits Israel later this week.
Netanyahu will try to convince Obama that the US should aid Israel if there is sufficient evidence that missiles are being passed on to Hezbollah forces, Britain’s The Guardian reported Sunday, citing an unnamed Israeli official.
