Mark Joseph Carney (born March 16, 1965) was Canadian central bank governor, was 8th Governor of the Bank of Canada and the Chairman of the Financial Stability Board. Carney spent thirteen years with Goldman Sachs in its London, Tokyo, New York and Toronto offices.

Financial Stability Board (FSB)

The FSB was established in April 2009 (*Earlier 1999 edition was “FSF” by the G7 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors following recommendations by Hans Tietmeyer, President of the Deutsche Bundesbank; later the Leaders of the G20 countries called for a larger membership and stronger institutional ground with an expanded membership and implement strong regulatory, supervisory and other policies in the interest of global financial stability.).

The FSB is chaired by Mark Carney, Governor of the Bank of Canada.
Its Secretariat is located in Basel, Switzerland,
and hosted by the Bank for International Settlements (BIS).

One Big Organization For All Of Earth:

The FSB has been established to coordinate at the international level the work of national financial authorities and international standard setting bodies and to develop and promote the implementation of effective regulatory, supervisory and other financial sector policies. It brings together national authorities responsible for financial stability in significant international financial centres, international financial institutions, sector-specific international groupings of regulators and supervisors, and committees of central bank experts.
