Max Igan on Press TV: Senior Iraqi MPs wants government to cancel security, arms deals with Washington

Niazi Mea’mar Oglo says Washington isn’t serious in fighting the ISIL terrorists and hasn’t lived up to its security commitments. Another MP, A’alia Enseyyef says the security agreement between Baghdad and Washington hasn’t been fruitful and so the government must cancel the deal. Iraqi officials have long complained that the US has failed to fulfill its promise of supplying advanced fighter aircraft and military hardware to the Iraqi army. The US is leading a military campaign against the ISIL, but critics say it has failed to effectively weaken the militants.
