The Mars One scam is a bit old, but sadly some individuals are still falling for the Mars scam and donating money.
That is not surprising since Space Agencies worldwide have tax money funding their government scams too.

One of the mars one astronauts figured out he has been scammed and is taking revenge. This company has scammed over 200.000 people and is still collecting money from people every day. If you sign up to their website you have to do donations and buy merchandise to get more points and have more chance to become a candidate.
(After making this video I figured out the news article was from 2015, so not recent)
The CEO Bas Lansdorp is aware that a lot of people are exposing the fraud, that’s why he made a video. Maybe we can give him some support

According to a physicist friend, our technology in insufficiently developed to survive a trip to Mars – at least with all the gear we would need to survive on a very cold planet without oxygen, water or soil. Taking a trip to Mars is a form of suicide – an extremely expensive and unpleasant way to go.
