I suggest truth seekers compile a database (list) of search alternatives along with a evaluation.
I wish to see a “A Preferred Top 3 or 9” by GNU/Linux users.
I put GNU/Linux suggestions at the top because Microsoft users’ computers are compromised and there are also concerns about what web browser to install.

searx – a privacy-respecting, hackable metasearch engine.
searx.me may be overused, you can switch to searx.ch for your default, or build your own instance.
List of public searx instances + Hidden services:

Seeks is a websearch proxy and collaborative distributed tool for websearching. - https://ahmia.fi/about/
Ahmia is a clearnet search engine for Tor’s hidden services created by Juha Nurmi.
Below are a few more search alternatives to consider:
https://metager.de/en
MetaGer is free software under GNU-AGPLv3 Licence and available to anyone at https://gitlab.metager3.de/open-source/MetaGer.
Below is a list of popular alternative search services.
Inform us if any on the list are bad and if you know of other search engines.
This list should be dynamic as more search engines fill the need for truth seekers, investigators, independent media, and researchers on the internet.
