Located near Montreal Canada I consider this a very interesting modern social community rejecting the current paradigm of financial debt-bondage and control. I wish them well and hope they will be successful and provide the world with a current example of peaceful living that will shift the G20 nations from their destructive paths.
Here is a quote from their blog about themselves:
“OCiel is an autonomous artistic embassy whose territory consists of a walled enclave within the city of Montreal. It is the smallest free country in the world by both area and population.
OCiel is a a city-state that was reestablished in A.D. 2009 (6012 S.T.Y) and is thus clearly distinct from the central authority of the Eyes Wide Open Artistic Peace Movement (E.W.O.A.P.M.) known as the Artistic See. Ordinances and official documents of OCiel are published in English and in French.
The Declaration of Artistic Freedom of 2009, which brought the city-state into reestablishment, spoke of it as the original creation of human governance, moral sustainability and sustenance (Preamble and Article III), not as a vestige of the much larger global infrastructure of human governance that has modernly encompassed the planet Earth.
OCiel is a theocratic state, ruled by Divine inspiration exegetically delivered through artistic expression. The highest state functionaries are all sovereign artists within the Artistic Community. OCiel is the autonomous territory of the Artistic See and a location of Divine Inspiration and artistic expression.
EYES WIDE OPEN ARTISTC PEACE MOVEMENT
E.W.O.A.P.M. is the jurisdiction of the sovereign artistic community known as the Artistic See, and is the preeminent “Creative See” of The Family of Righteous Nations, forming the International Government of the axiological Artistic Community. As such, diplomatically, and in other spheres the Artistic See acts and speaks for the whole Artistic Community. It is also recognized by other subjects of divine, natural, and international law; as an assembly of sovereign artists, with which full diplomatic relations can be maintained.
The Artistic See should not be confused with O Ciel, which was reestablished only in 2009 (6012), while the Artistic See dates back to the beginning of human communication and expression. Ambassadors are officially accredited not to the O Ciel, but to the Artistic See, and E.W.O.A.P.M. representatives to states and international organizations are recognized as representing the “Artistic See”, not O Ciel.
While all creative sees and guilds of aesthetic disciplines can be referred to as “artistic”, the expression the “Artistic See” (without further specification) is exclusively used in international relations to refer to the international government of the axiological Artistic Community.”
