Or to worship governments or worship any institution?
You may have heard of the financial version of the Golden Rule:
“HE WHO HAS THE GOLD MAKES THE RULES.”
Temptations are alluring and immediate. Are you homeless, starving and poor, or are you fearful of becoming so?
Do you fear squad cars and tanks with teams of armed officers? Then you may be tempted to worship a institution (government, Wall Street corporations, central banks, religion)…
Promises of quick profits allure the unwary investor.
There are countless numbers of people everyday preaching the salvation of Gold & Silver.
While having some precious metals may be prudent during this global financial crisis, the plan to return to a gold-backed currency is flawed.
There are more than one (fix) solution to put the global financial crisis on a firm base that would reset financial stability for a period (maybe as long as a hundred years…) but I will not accept that temptation.
Who honestly want to kick the rusty can down the road for a future generation to go through what we have gone through?
Wealth and Poverty, wild fluctuations of economic instabilities where the once happy people had funds for all manner of activities and then it suddenly vanished and poverty and the fear of poverty, crime, and war swept the land…
Visualization of Public forum wherein we decided gold was valuable. Presumption of Fact by Convention.
“Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and showeth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; and saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.”- Mathew 4-8
The central bankers, and investors, including the BRICS nations are praising the attributes of a stable gold-backed currency…
The Gold is suddenly leaving secure underground vaults, and where to no one is revealing…
“for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.” – Revelation 18:23
For how much would you sell your soul?
Half a Million dollars? One million dollars? One Billion dollars?
Can we agree that every soul has value?
I certainly see value in every soul and will not sell mine for any amount because I consider my eternal essence beyond limits and is priceless.
