Pontiff Denounces the War-Making Empire of Monetarism
In an interview with the Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia, Pope Francis denounced the present world economic system as
“unbearable… We are excluding an entire generation of young people,”
pointing to the staggering youth unemployment in many countries. He likened the system to an empire, saying
“for the system to survive, wars must be made, as the big empires have always done …
but a Third World War cannot be launched, therefore they take to regional wars.”
The leading economies of the world, the pontiff charged, are shaping up their balance sheets with the production and sale of weapons, sacrificing mankind to the idol of money:
“If we see pictures of undernourished children in different parts of the world, we scratch our head. You simply cannot understand it.
The economic system should serve man, but we have put money at the center, money as a god.”

“In this kind of anarcho-capitalism, where a small group of financiers runs the rest of humanity, a group known as ‘vulture funds,’ obtained debt instruments at absurdly low prices—if the value was 100, they paid 5 pesos, or perhaps less—financiers who don’t even pay taxes because their official headquarters are in tax havens, and which only represent 1 or 2% of Argentina’s total debt.”
“And yet this small group of vulture funds is endangering not only Argentina—because if it were only Argentina it might not matter much to the world, a country lost at the bottom of the South American continent wouldn’t matter much to them. But in reality what is at stake is the international financial system, and the international economic system more than the financial system. . . . [This is] financial capitalism and the appearance of what is called financial derivatives, which began to generate, or at least make the world believe that they were generating, money without going through the cycle of the production of goods and services, which is impossible and obviously generate astronomically high profits, but also the existence of fictitious money.”
The Story
On June 16, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a decision written by the cretinous Justice Antonin Scalia, which sided with the bloodiest of vulture funds, NML Capital and Aurelius Capital Management, in their effort to use American courts to gain discovery of all Argentine financial movements worldwide, in order to seize that country’s assets in payment for defaulted bonds. The Supreme Court simultaneously upheld a lower court ruling by Federal Judge Thomas Griesa that Argentina had to immediately pay $1.5 billion to NML Capital and other “holdouts” against Argentina’s 2005 sovereign debt restructuring, and that Argentine assets anywhere in the world could be seized to execute that payment—including the $900 million that Argentina must pay on June 30 to its other creditors who renegotiated in good faith.

Argentina has repeatedly warned that such a ruling could lead to an overall default on their debt. In point of fact, the ruling threatens to bring down the entire trans-Atlantic financial system in an orgy of predatory looting of nations, their populations, and their resources—precisely the deadly “bail-in” policy loudly trumpeted by the British Empire as their “final solution” to the bankruptcy that is sinking their system.

Sharing My View
Over the decades I have researched modern slavery.
Over the years I have posted information documenting how corporate commerce perpetuates the slave meme of control with the global debt based monetary system.
For those who are unfamiliar with these discussions then please research the transatlantic slave trade and compare the current transatlantic banking system that has the helm governing the global commercial system. Often this is referred to as the “West” or “G7”.
I remind everyone that merely shifting the reigns of leadership of this destructive system to the East or some allied BRICS member region would simply be perpetuating the debt slavery system onto future generations.
The system of control and authority needs to be abolished.
I wish for the mass of People on Earth to provide the important impetus to stop the wars, to instill the knowledge, social awareness, and actions to nurture the sovereign rights of all People to self-determination and assist in developing skills and tools for cooperation, creative commons, open source knowledge, and good, friendly, neighborly relations.

“To give aid to officials from the Pentagon and the US State Department and to rule out insinuations about “a Russian military threat,” Russian Defense Ministry is mulling creation of special accounts in social networks and video hosting resources to bring unbiased information about actions taken by Russian Armed Forces to representatives of the US intelligence community,” he said.

There’s a clarification I’d like to make regarding your early question of whether the Establishment is patriotic or anti-patriotic. They are absolutely anti-patriotic and anti-sovereignty. This is proven by everything they write in in their internal organs such as the journal Foreign Affairs. Their occasional public flag-waving is simply to motivate young men to enlist and the people to get behind their wars.
Just to take World War I as an example, the war was used to destroy the sovereignty of other empires and nations–such as the Ottoman Empire, Austro-Hungarian Empire, Russia, the kaiser’s Germany, etc. Europe was sweepingly restructured and brought loosely under the internationalist League of Nations. But to get American soldiers to partake in this plan of nation-destruction, here in America the flag was waved, Uncle Sam appeared on recruiting posters, and people were told they were ‘defending America.’ However, these patriotics were propaganda solely for the purpose of manipulating of the public, and that process continues to this day, as when soldiers are sent to the Middle East on the pretext that they are defending our freedoms.
Ultimately, they have America’s sovereignty in their gun sights as well, as proven by the CFR’s push for a North American Union.
In the interview, I said it depended on context, and I don’t think my answer communicated it with adequate clarity, as is apt to happen in an impromptu response.
