I first learned of CAFRs from Walter Burien and Clint Richardson in 2007 or 2008;
but, I am convinced that other solutions may be more beneficial to Earth and its people.
A norm or new paradigm where greed, profits and fractional reserve banking is not the norm.
The biggest obstacles are the existence of the current system that is a predatory meme ready to destroy all competition and a lack of imagination of the people that do not see alternatives to profit motives…
Thus, perhaps a total collapse of the current global system is needed to create something truly different and not simply a temporary band-aid to a fundamentally flawed financial system.
If each human has access to his and her personal unlimited food and energy and the confidence that comes from knowing that the universe is abundant with what is required to sustain life then would people continue to accept servitude and bondage?
Perhaps some would but certainly more would seek to create and innovate and go beyond what limiting them today.
Without the limits placed upon us by the current meme who can say what will develop?
Perhaps some creative people would even form advanced (spiritual/technological) tribal communities.
To heal the ill and to travel to the stars…

hmm…Perhaps those preferring massive metropolitan centers will engineer clean and none toxic/hazardous waste with a all-access, faster internet, direct-democracy society along with a non-fractional reserve banking system?
I wonder what kind of communities we can engineer that does not rely on an elite few to dominate and control its policies and activities and the use of violent force?

“Holder isn’t the only Justice Department staffer who defended a corporation in an ATCA case. Sri Srinivasan, recently nominated for the second highest position in the Justice Department, represented Exxon Mobil in a case brought against them by Indonesian villagers who survived alleged attacks, torture and murder by Indonesian military units hired by Exxon to provide security. Lower courts disagreed on Exxon’s liability under ATCA, and in 2011 an appeals court sent the case back to trial.
Which brings us to the case currently before the Supreme Court – Kiobel v. Royal Dutch Petroleum Co. (Shell) – brought by relatives of nine Nigerian Ogoni activists who were executed in 1995 by a military dictatorship allegedly working in collaboration with Shell. For the last ten years, the widow of executed Dr. Barinem Kiobel and other Nigerian refugees have been trying to prove in court that the British-Dutch multinational oil company Royal Dutch Petroleum Co., or Shell Oil, conspired with the Nigerian military to illegally detain, torture and kill critics of Shell’s environmentally destructive practices in the Niger Delta.”
