Research continues to surface indicating that autism goes far beyond just genetics. It’s showing us that we might have to look at multiple factors (like environmental toxins, prescription drugs, etc) when trying to figure out what’s going on, and why autism rates continue to climb exponentially.

A senior researcher from The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Dr. Stephanie Seneff is doing her part to create more awareness of these facts that have yet to make big news in the world of mainstream medicine.

As a child and adolescent psychiatrist, I, too, am extremely concerned about the skyrocketing increase in autism, Asperger’s disorder, learning disabilities and attention deficit disorder. I find it especially alarming how many common beauty and cleaning products women use around the home have endocrine disruptors linked to autism. Wiping out of our microbiome by excessive exposure to antibiotics (not only through health care but through factory farming that feeds antibiotics to livestock) also has a proven link with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders.

From the 1960s on I have been aware & active on environmental/industrial relationship.
What you mention leads to the volumes of research documents as evidence of the increasing environmental hazards life is facing from the dangerous industrial engineering (chemical/petrochemical/biochemical/bioengineering/genetic-engineering/geoengineering/pharmaceutical) policies that are implemented today.
The meme must be abandoned because the current model is training future students to perpetuate this destruction/dominate nature paradigm.

I recall the great impact William McDonough had with calling attention to changing our models and our paradigm thinking. By simply doing that instantly engineers, researchers, designers, manufacturers, constructions and indeed all of society would clean up the current toxic environment and leave a legacy for nurturing a living creative way of thinking and behaviour.
