New York Republican U.S. Congressional Representative Michael Grimm
Rep. Michael Grimm Physically Threatens Reporter
Published on Jan 28, 2014
The incident happened after Rep. Grimm was asked to respond to allegations about his campaign corruption case, in a post-presidential state of the union speech, interview.
Here’s what happened. From Real Clear Politics:
After being asked by NY1 reporter Michael Scotto about the investigation, Grimm replied, “That’s off-topic. This is only about president’s speech,” and walked off camera.
Scotto briefly concluded his report, and Grimm — assuming the broadcast was over — returned to admonish the reporter. The camera remained on, however. “Let me be clear to you: You ever do that to me again, I’ll throw you off this f*ing balcony,” Grimm threatened.
After a brief back-and-forth about the validity of the question, Grimm concluded, “No, no, you’re not man enough, you’re not man enough. I’ll break you in half. Like a boy.”
Never forget that these are the people voting on everything from your civil liberties to going to war. Frightening.

He reportedly threatened a guy by saying “he don’t know who he’s fucking with … I’ll fuckin’ make him disappear where nobody will find him.”
He later denied saying that, claiming “I don’t need to speak that way.” Um, clearly you do…

Fmr. Presidential Speechwriter: Obama Plagiarized Bush’s 2007 State Of The Union
FNC (1.28.2014)
Barack Obama plagiarized portions of his State of the Union speech from George W. Bush’s 2007 address, according to former Bush speechwriter Marc Thiessen. The similarities underscore the point that no matter which party is in power, Americans are forced to endure the same empty rhetoric on an annual basis.
“Barack Obama has gone from blaming George W. Bush to plagiarizing George W. Bush,” Thiessen told Fox News host Megyn Kelly.
Noting how the two speeches were “eerily familiar,” Thiessen pointed to some examples.
